Here is a simple and tasty recipe for shrimp lovers. You could be eating this delicious dish in as little as half an hour! Home-made Pesto is super-easy to make, and always impresses.
As far as the shrimp goes, I suggest buying frozen, pre-shelled shrimps, as the shelling process is usually pretty annoying. The recipe does not go into details about the need to boil the pasta, but I assume, hopefully correctly, that you can multi-task and cook pasta as you are preparing the pesto.
Ingredients:
Pour about 2/3 of the pesto in a pan; heat on medium heat and add shrimps. As soon as the shrimp change color, remove from heat and add pasta; stir well. Add a little cooking water from the pasta, mix and serve.
Add Red Pesto to taste on individual plates.
Voila! A very simple dish to make and serve, and that is sure to please every palate!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Since shrimp, like all seafood, is very high in cholesterol, this dish is not something to have every day if you are planning on reaching middle age. Best had in moderation, with good friends and a good bottle of wine.
